Low framerate issue.

So here's the thing. I installed PCSX2 and configured it properly in my opinion, but I can't get satysfying number of frames per second when I try to play Tekken Tag Tournament or Tekken 5. This is weird, because I think my notebook is somewhat decent and shouldn't have any problem with stuff like that.

My specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz
RAM: 12 GB
Graphic card: nVidia GeForce GTX 660M
OS: Windows 8
DirectX: DirectX 11

Here are my configurations:

I hope I'm just missing something 'cause I can't believe my computer is too bad to properly launch a PS2 emulator.

Those two games are quite heavy and your system isn't amazingly strong. The MTVU speedhack may help Tekken 5 however it will have little to no effect in Tekken Tag.

If you want Tekken Tag to run smoothly you will need to run a CPU like that near 4Ghz (which isn't gonna happen on a laptop).

Also make sure your Nvidia card is being used and not the Intel HD Graphics and set your windows power profile to high performance (with the laptop plugged in of course)

I gave up on TTT since you said it need CPU with 4GHz, but I tried your suggested hack on Tekken 5 and it had no effect at all to be honest. Depending on stage I have from 30 to almost 50 FPS. I had set nVidia card usage in global settings and high performance power plan before posting this thread. Any other ideas?

That may be your lot, Tekken 5 is pretty heavy. You could try turning the clamping to none (the Zaden one) on the EE and VU, that might give you some speed boost, then in the speedhacks tab turn on mVUFlag hack and put both sliders up one notch (don't go crazy with these, but it might help to experiment).

Lastly in SPU2-X, change "Timestretch" to "Async", this will lower the load a little on your CPU
