MGS 2 Sons of Liberty problem

I found that when Raiden put on the Thermo Goggle everything became black, so I was unable to save EE in the last part of the game. I don't know the reason. Or has anybody had this problem before? Any help will be appreciated.

never tried that game under pcsx2, but did you try hitting F9 ?

Thanks jesalvein it worked...but why I have to hit F9?

because some scenes are more accurately rendered when you're not using the enhancements of hardware mode.
