MGS 3 Snake Eater - always crashes after a cut-scene

Ok I am playing the EU version of this game, so far so good (except that the cheats DO NOT work - but that's for another thread). The game can be beaten even without the cheats, it is not so hard on normal mode after all.
BUT... I have now encountered this very long cut-scene - after Snake emerges 'at the top of the mountains' to meet Eva. The cut-scene is very long (more than 10 mins I think) and it features Ocelot, Eva, The Boss, and Volgin (sic) - and the emulator constantly crashes after it ends. I tried interrupting the cut-scene (press the X button) but the emulator crashes anyway.
Also tried loading the game from normal save (as opposed to a quick-save) but the emulator crashes again...
Anyone have any idea what could help? Would like to complete the game, but is seems impossible with this issue.

tlb miss errors are usually caused by 3 things :
- bad cheats. Disable them
- bad savestate, but it looks like you didn't load one before getting the error.
- Bad iso. Give a try with your original DVD to see if it persists

I removed the cheats and the game now works, BIG THANKS!
Could I ask one more thing about a different game here? I don't want to create another thread...
The game I'm asking now is WRC Rally Evolved (EU). According to the compatibility list, it should work. But it doesn't seem to start, all I see is a black screen.
