MGS2 Substance blending accuracy question

Is there any difference in the game if i change blending accuracy from high to basic? the olga boss fight from tanker gave me severe lag (30-40 fps slowdown) until i changed it to basic.

Windows 11 Home
Intel Core i3 1215u @ 1200mhz
No graphics cards, Intel UHD Graphics
8 GB ram

emulation will be more accurate.
don't bother setting it higher than basic with your rig, anyways. it'll struggle even with basic sometimes
