MGS2 Without Pressure Sensitive Buttons

I used to use a PS3 controller, but now I have an Xbox One controller (no pressure sens. buttons). I think I just need the square button to be pressure sensitive to put down my gun without firing. Is there a way to simulate this? Maybe have L3 simulate slowly releasing square?

PS3, XBox360 and XBOne controllers all have pressure sensitive buttons, but overall Lilypad doesn't natively support it, only way would be to change the sensitivity for the button you put in.

Triggers should register as pressure buttons, so you could reassign the square to one of the triggers instead.
