MGS2 runs slow

best i have run it at is 2x or native with it set 2 and 2 with all but mtvu and fast spin speedhacks enabled. the game still bogs down from time to time

Intel 5930k 4.2ghz/core
32 GBs of 2400MHz DDR4
AMD PoweColor 390X (GPUs are expensive or this would be in crossfire)

Make sure you are running the game from an ISO and not directly from the disk.

Is possible for you to overclock your CPU?

It's an ISO. And I'm sure I can. I've personally never attempted it, but the only problem would be overheating, which I can take measures to prevent that.

Dont worry,i never heard before about a computer suffering damages after overclocking.

I'm pretty sure it will help your frame rates.

Just Google for some tutorials.

wouldn't recommend it to someone that doesn't know what he's doing, though...
It doesn't happen a lot, because not many people are trying to to it without nothing nothing about how to do it.
