Is that happening(l1 is not workng)only on this game?
Or maybe it is nt suppoused to do anything yet at this point of the game

in this log, you don't run any game, hence, you don't have any problem.

I guess this thread can be closed, then ?

Or you could just post the emulog AFTER you got the problem

jes sorry but,I can't figure out how a emulog will help in any way.
The log don't contains anything saying why certain button(as single button which works everywhere else)is not working

raminxxx does the game have some settings to change the controls...maybe AIM is executed only on certain conditions or by pressing two buttons.
If you try the game on your PS2(same story location),does the L1 work...I find it hard to believe that this is a pcsx2\plugin problem especially if it happens only on this game.

Are you loading a save state or memory card save,and did you tried to manually reconfigure all of the buttons(XInput is auto configured at first start).
Did you tried deleting the lilypad.ini from Documents\PCSX2\inis or PCSX2\inis while pcsx2 is not running and reconfigure the buttons
When you click on the L1 button in LilyPad,is everything set like all of the other buttons(Sensitivity,Dead Zone)
Try increasing the Sensitivity in nothing else help

PS.And please don't choose what to try and say "it's not working",try all I posted

We will know if he patched his game (i.e. : undub patch, translation patch...) if cheats are loaded if widescreen patches are loaded if savestates are used, etc...
Anything that could let us think that the game could behave wrongly in only one post.

Equip a sniper rifle then press the L1 button, did you activate the scope? If yes L1 is working as intended.

3 things to try :
1 - load from memcard instead of savestates
2 - disable widescreen patches
3 - disable mtvu speedhack

Bonus :
4 - try latest GIT build instead of 1.4.0

yse it work for half of a sec when try R1+[]+L1 but it should work with R1+L1 for aim and L1 for reset camera non of this will not work
also yes i tried every button config manually but nothing changed! 
also try delete .ini file and nothing changed!
also try change Sensitivity of L1 but nothing changed!
