Makai Kingdom - can't see menus or dialog

Hi, when playing Makai Kingdom I can't see any menus or dialog boxes, or even the damage. I'm using the zerogs plugin on the newest version of the emu. Is there a certain setting I need to change or a different plugin that supports this game? Thanks.

did you try using gsdx ?

I have, it still has the same problem, I've tried messing with some of the settings on it as well with no luck.
