you should be able to run some non-demading games on native res, maybe x2 native but not more.
Both you CPU & GPU are weak for pcxs2
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

sry, confused with another Topic.
your CPU should be enough for many games, you GPU will let you go from native to 3x native (yes, a GT440 isn't very good...) for low-mid demanding games

Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS

let's put it this way.. my (former)8600 GT (gt 430 now) and my (still) E2200 @ 2.2 can play God Of War1/2 at 60 fps.

his cpu will more than cover that though. I'm guranteing that with a better CPU I'd be able to go over 3x the CPU holds m back, it shouldn't hold that PC at all

I observed, the processor at 3x native is about 2logical at 50% but the gpu is at 99%Mellow
The Wii emulation necessity a lower requirement , i can play Naruto special gekitou taisen at 4xnative which is bigger and gpu usage 66%. Why?
And the graphics are more complex.

the Wii uses closer to Desktop hardware. it's easier to emulate

some comparisons if you're interested:

It depends on what you call "demanding games"
I'm pretty sure he wont get full speed on mgs3, for instance.

I get full FPS after the opening chapter of MGS3.. (aka in that open forest area.. in op. Snake Eater)
