MegaMan X Collection (question on stage)

Don't know if this post should go here (please delete it or tell me to delete it)but was wondering if anyone has tried to use a speedhack on Jet Stingrays stage to make it easier to get to the boss by slowing the game down as I have tried several times and have failed.

Try Shift + Tab
It supposed to slow down the game on the emulator.

Awesome. thanks a lot for the help I will try that. I though I would have to use something like using the speedhack on cheat engine
