Memory Card(s) stops working after applying new build
#1
Hi! I'm new here! Smile

I was running "v1.5.0-dev-2176-g8fe8cad8f" yesterday and today applied "v1.5.0-dev-2184-ga0aa585af" to keep myself updated.
This rendered my memory card pretty much useless. I tried to load a game in Snake Eater that I had made when I used "g8fe8cad8f".
The game found the card and the save but when about to load, it said it was corrupted.

This isn't the first time but when it happened the first time I simply ignored it because I had never gotten far into any game to feel a loss.

But anyway, is this normal? That cards created with older builds aren't working with newer builds?

MGS3 is known to have save file corruption. Completely unrelated to builds. It's just coincidence that it happened to you while switching builds.

Oh. Well, it's good it isn't build related but a very, very bad thing it happened to be Snake Eater.
