Memory card saves from PCSX2 to PS3

Hi guys. Quick question....is there a way to use memory card save data that is created in either PCSX2 or simply downloaded from the web on a PS3? If I transfer my data to a USB stick and plug it into my 60gb PS3(which is fully backwards compatible) will I be able to retrieve my saves and use them on my PS2 games?

I've been curious about this myself since I figured out how to take ps2 saves off my memory cards via ps3/usb. I wanted to do the reverse as well.

No matter what they would need to be convereted into .psv files.
