I set up memory cards for each of my games, but since the last update, whatever game I load says there's no memory card inserted.

Did the last update break something?

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):

They are inserted in individual game properties. They worked fine before the update.

The only way memcards are detected now is if I insert one in the general PCSX2 settings.

The saves work fine.

Deleted one of the inis to test and set it up again...memcard still not detected.

This is how the ini looks like:
