Memory protection

Cheat engine works, so I am not really sure what kind of 'memory protection' your referring to exactly. Tongue
CPU: Pentium D 'Presler' 915 2.8 ghz 2x2MB L2 @ 3.5 ghz
GPU: eVGA [Nvidia] 8600GT 256MB SSC DDR3
Tested: FFX, FFX-2, FFXII, MGS3, KH, KH2, The Hobbit NTSC
PCSX2 FTW! Biggrin

Are you using in the "Address Range" Emulator or you are using ALL.
If you are using all then simply you are not finding the correct address for your cheat

To find the base address you simply must have some cheat that pcsx2 can use in pnach and find the same cheat using ArtMoney.

For example you are searching for money and the address that pcsx2 is using is 01C95158 and the address that ArtMoney find is 04FF6158

So 04FF6158-01C95158=3361000 which will be the base address. Now close ArtMoney and drag-drop the artmoney.emul from the ArtMoney folder into your Notepad.Search for *Sony Playstation 2 and at the end off all the other base addresses(you can delete those that you don't need)add
PCSX2 name;full pcsx2 name icluding the extension(for example pcsx2-r3826.exe)
;RAM 32MB;00000000;the base address;2000000

PCSX2-r3596;pcsx2.exe
;RAM 32MB;00000000;3361000;2000000

Not base adress, it's a pointer. If you see the symbol P, then it's pointer.

what SVN revision was PCSX2 at on the 15th June this year?
I have a text file i made with memory addresses for persona 4 on that date which i made using phaste. I was thinking of making a build of that particular revision to use for cheating purposes until the memory address problem is ummm addressed

that would be greatly appreciated, the new revisions are FAST, but I can't do any of my code-searching for other people and myself now.

I tried three different versions of the emulator (r3596, r3844 and ValdanX 0.1 r17) with game called Front Mission 5 (JP patched to Eng) and all the values are changed back. While in the game R-Type Final (PAL-E) all the values works normally.
