Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence - Shader / Graphic Problem

Hello,

As posted before, MGS3 : Subsistence has an issue when running in hardware mode. While FPS is in a playable state, the shaders for the game are disabled, severely degrading the quality of the original graphics.

A solution to this problem is to use software mode (F9 in-game will switch between HW & SW), but this is undesirable for 2 reasons : speed & low resolution/AA.

I have been monitoring the forums on and off for a while, as this is one of a handful of games that I'm interested in playing on my PC. Has a solution been found ? Perhaps a new GFX plugin has been released since the last time I checked ? Or hacks made specifically for this game ?

Pretty sure the situation remains as you were aware of it. But you can always try the latest SVN and see.
