Let me preface that I'm not super familiar with PCSX2, so apologies if this is a common problem.
The game in question is Metal Saga, I'm able to boot the game up no issues. however after picking my name the inputs for the shape buttons no longer seem to work. Diagonal button and sticks seem to work fine. Just to test it out I went to the load game screen and the inputs don't seem to work there either.
I'm currently using a ps4 controller plugged in, but I even tried swapping the shape buttons to the keyboard and no luck.
