move your pcsx2 folder to "my documents" and be sure to run it with the "run as administration" option always

but you also said it works on ff xii so its really strange. mgs 3 ntsc works fine for me (i have the subsistence edition though...)

be sure to use the march lilypad also (r2591), the same with all the plugins, use the newest only.

its not complicated, the only thing you have to do is go to pad 1 tab and select the keys you want. and lilypad is allot better in general except rare occasions

update: frame drops to 45fps twice during the cut scene and never skipped frames.
utilizing quad core seems to solve the problems...I'll try speed hack and the clamp methods when the CPU&GPU aren't able to handle it.

you can already put clamps to none. it will not create problems with mgs 3 as far as i know, cut scenes are very cpu/gpu intensive sometimes so its normal you get a drop in fps

Hi did you encounter some sort of water glitch? It doesn't happen to all the water only some types of water.
ex: when I fight Pain - the wasp guy.

Can it be fixed? I know in the previous posts they say the speed hack is the cause of water glitch. But I didn't turn on speed hacks.
So is it just the r1888 build bug or wat?
