Missing Release File?
#1
I freely admit to still being a bit of a Linux newbie, so it's entirely possible that, if the solution had been a snake, it would have bitten me by now.
On Ubuntu 18.10 AMD64, "apt update" throws an error on the PCSX2 official repository, stating that it lacks a release file and can't be securely updated from.

The output from the command follows:

gconly@gconly-HP-Pavilion-Notebook:~$ sudo apt update
[sudo] password for gconly:
Hit:1 http://repo.steampowered.com/steam precise InRelease
Hit:2 http://linux.teamviewer.com/deb stable InRelease

Reading package lists... Done
E: The repository 'http://ppa.launchpad.net/gregory-hainaut/pcsx2.official.ppa/ubuntu cosmic Release' does not have a Release file.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.
N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.

I hope this is something that can be easily fixed. Thanks in advance!

Seems like there's a connection issue to your PCSX2-PPA. try to remove it and use the PPA from here:
