Monster Hunter Item Slot Codes Cause The Game To Crash =/

So I followed this tutorial:

I input a gameshark code for Infinite Money and it worked perfect. However, when I do the gameshark codes for item slots, (i.e. Item Slot 1 Max) the game just crashes when I try to "execute" after inputting them. I have tried entering raw codes as well. Is there a more reliable way to do the cheats without PcSX2 crashing? I noticed the sticky with game patches, but the ones there are for Monster Hunter (Pal), not to mention, I've got no idea how to use the patches anyways. I am sure there is a tutorial on the site for using patches, or creating my own for Mh NTSC, but that stuff is a hassle compared to just sticking some Gameshark codes in there.

OR DOES IT??!! I found the solution. Using the codes you provided me I did this.

1.Load Game
2.Esc to PcSX2 Window
3.Misc>Patch Browser>Add Gs2V3-4; then added the codes, hit convert etc.
4.Enabled the codes in the patch browser only. That's the important part. You cannot have the "enable patches" selection checked in the Misc Options.
5.Then go to Execute, then esc again, THEN click the "enable patches" option.
6.The codes will then be operational. They were for me =D. Hopefully these instructions can help somebody else out. Feel free to use or edit them and stick them somewhere useful.

Sorry For the double-post, would it be possible for you to tell me where you got those codes you gave me? All the ones I google suck and crash the emulator. But I am trying to find a way to get the online quests offline, and there must be a code for it..there's patches for it in the forums for the PAL version, I am sure it must be possible

easy, i took the codes you gave me and changed the 1 at the start to 2

PCSX2 doesnt like any memory ranges other than 2####### so if you end up with 0 or 1 at the start, change it to 2

I see. Now I will go google some codes and see if I can't find the codes I'm looking for. If I have any luck I'll post it in that patch thread.
