Mortal Kombat Armageddon Online
#1
Yes I know that online questions have been asked to death around here, I've been searching all day on Google and such and can't figure this out.

I've tried to follow a number of different guides. I've installed WinPcap. I've tried to patch the game I'm using with WinDip. I've tried to use the Dev9 plugin, which seems to only be for the hard drive, which I can't even see in the browser menu like my PS2, even after I formatted the raw file with HDLoader.

Mortal Kombat Armageddon has its own built in Internet configuration, as I don't have the original Internet configuration disc. And when I go to try to configure it, it says that there's no hardware for it. I've got both a PS2 slim and a PS2 phat, so I have both bios types, and I've tried them, still nothing. I've heard of people getting this to work back in 2007 with this exact game too, so there's got to be something I'm missing, I'm using a freshly installed PCSX2 .9.8 with the exception of modding the video preferences. So I shouldn't have any speedhacks or anything enabled that could screw things up.

My hardware\software:

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
CPU: 3.0 GHz QX9650 Quad core OC'd to 3.6
Mobo: NVIDIA EVGA 790i Ultra SLI
RAM: 8 GB DDR3 2000
Video Cards: (2) NVIDIA 9600 GT in SLI (1GB VRAM for each)

That's all I can think of that could possibly screw things up, any help is appreciated, thank you.
MOBO: GIGABYTE Z68X-UD4-B3
CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-2600K @ 3.4 GHz
GPU: NVIDIA 9600 GT (x2 SLI)
RAM: Ripjaws X 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 2133
OS: Windows 7; Linux Mint 13 MATE

There's multiple plugins for it O_O. All I could find was this Mega DEV9 plugin. You mean to tell me there is others?

Yes, you should be using the razi/giga dev9 plugin for online gameplay, megadev is only for HDD as far as I know.

Hm, it won't let me apply the plugin, it will just say that there is a problem with PCSX and it needs to close, I've heard of some problems with 64 bit versions of Windows, is this the case? Or should I try a different version of PCSX2?

The plugin is old and I believe isn't fuly compatible with 0.9.8. You'll likely have to use 0.9.6 or an earlier SVN of 0.9.7 to get it to work correctly.

Haven't tested online play for a while but you can try the 0.9.7 r3878 beta if you want, worked then for sure.

Well I got it working, but I got a DNAS authentication error. Does this mean that it won't work?

Did you patch the image with the correct ID? What exactly was the DNAS error you got?

That is the perfect question for you to ask. I can't see the error, part of it is blotched out, all I can see is part of this number in the error. I did patch it, but I guess I could've screwed up, so I'll try it again.
