Mortal Kombat Shoalin Monks wont start.

Glad to know I'm the only one with this stupid problem, MK SM goes to a completely black screen after I choose a character. I just need to know if there is a way to fix it, instead of downloading a older ps2 emulator. Every other game I downloaded works perfectly.
