Mx Unleashed Slow Gameplay

Not sure if this is where I should post this, but I've tried all of the presets with no advancement in gameplay speed. The music is laggy and the game becomes virtually unplayable as if it were in slow motion, is there anyone that knows how to fix this or at least make it a bit better?

Upon more gameplay, any "cutscenes" Such as when I crash the music begins to play normal again and the game speeds up, but when it's over it returns to it's previous state.

• Your hardware specs - CPU, Graphics Card, Memory, Operating System.
  
• The version of PCSX2 you are using.
  
• Any non default settings you are using.
  
• What games you are trying to play and if you are playing them from ISO or DVD.

Graphics Card- EAH 6850
RAM - 4gb
OS - Windows 7 Ultimate

Your pc is probably too slow.

Ah, well lucky for me I have a new processor, more ram, and a new mobo on the way

It's going to be an amd fx-6300
