My Gran Turismo 4 settings
#1
Hi, new here.

My notebook specs include:

2.40 GHz 3rd Gen i3-3110m
12GB DDR3 (up to 2GB reserved for on-board Intel HD Graphics 4000)
Windows 8 Pro

PCSX2 1.1.0
Plugin GSdx 5209 0.1.16 [GSDX32-AVX]

Okay, if anyone else have the same hardware I got, these are the best settings I would put...

Config > Video (GS) > Plugin Settings

NOTE! Under spectator and A-spec driving conditions, it is important to enable the "Skip when on TURBO only" option under the GS tab! If you don't, you will encounter 15 to 30 fps rates the whole time whether TURBO was activated by the Tab key or not. Otherwise, you should get 45-to-60-fps-related conditions at half as a result of frame-skipping.

For most racetracks, the lowest fps I would get is 25fps at Laguna Seca, the others are up to 60fps especially at Nurburgring and Le Mans/Le Sarthe. I usually toggle Turbo on and off to ensure I get increased framerates. Smile

For i5, i7, and higher AMD processors, there shouldn't have to be much adjustments on that. But you should be able to get your foot in the door with an i3! Stay away from dinosaur CPU's, anyone will tell you that.
