My Laptop and PCSX2
#1
Well heres my laptop specs:

CPU: Intel Core i3 CPU M 330 @ 2.13GHz
RAM: 4 Gbs
Video card: Integrated w/ 1.7 GBs of video RAM available
sound card: integrated

I just want to know if this is the right place to ask this question. Well, two.

first off, is my computer able to run PCSX2 well? It meets the standard system requirements, but then again I also read that it doesnt work well on laptops.

second is, When I start up the game I play (Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories) My FPS drops to around 7-11 FPS in game. the cutscenses and menus are fine though.

the plugins I'm using are:

GS: ZeroGS 0.97.1
PAD: LilyPad svn 0.10.0
SPU2: ZeroSPU2 r3567-Dev 0.4.6
CDVD: Linuz Iso CDVD 0.9.0
USB: USBnullDriver
FW: FWnull driver
DEV9: Dev 9 Null Driver

any help would be appreciated!

also, if this is the wrong place for this, I'll gladly remake/move the thread.'

Lastminute edits:
I do have the real DVD of the game, I'm not a pirate for PS2 games.

My PSX2 version is 0.9.7 (r3878)

I've seen that thread, and it doesnt completely help me. I can get the requirements of it, but I just read that it might not work with laptops. I'm moreso having trouble with the Emulator displaying the game at a decent Framerate, which I think might be because of my laptop. I guess what I should have asked is if its my computer, or my emulator settings that are making it lag so bad.

Can anybody help?

it's your grafix card
integrated GPU is weak for pcsx2....you should get the dedicated GPU one.
is your laptop is a brand-new??? and is it able to return/full-refund/interchageable? then change it w/ the dedicated GPU. like Geforce 32xM~higher or HD 55xxM~higher

It's not brand new, and I can't return it, which is sadface for me, cause I really wanted to play PCSX2.

the only thing that makes no sense is that I definately can run Crysis on low, Bioshock, and Fallout 3..but PCSX2 doesn't work very well =[

This one isn't even "I can run crysis on high" so it's kinda worst than usual Tongue2

PCSX2 is not a PC game, there's no point in comparing it like that.

my POS 2.2ghz Dual core, 8600GT 512 can run Crysis on HIGH, and still doesn't handle pcsx2 well. Crysis is no comparison measuring tool to pcsx2 and I'm sure alot of people are sick of hearing about crysis
