My PS2 controller ribbon is broken...any way to dump bios?

is there any way to dump the bios from my ps2 without actually having to do anything on the ps2 itself? I've had it sine 2001, and the controller ribbon has frayed, disabling any interaction with the console other than turning it on.

If your PS2 has a mod chip installed, you can run PS2 Link and dump the BIOS via Xlink on your PC and this requires no controller input on the PS2 side.
