You guys/gals miss the point. I wasn't claiming WM doesn't "usually works well". In fact, it works for me too, and judging by the posts here, it's possibly also "usually works well".
I was merely questioning whether such assertion was based on some facts, or does it essentially translate to "it works for me".
Especially on forums such as this one, where people ask for technical help, it's better to state facts rather than assumptions, and especially when such assumptions are conveyed as actual knowledge. There's no shame in lack of knowledge, as knowledge can be acquired over time. But there's potential for misguidance when posts are not as accurate as they could be.
