NBA Street Vol 2 Lag Fix

I've been trying to play NBA street vol 2 but the game ends up lagging so much that it become unplayable. Navigating through the main menu is fine, but playing the game is very slow. 

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor
GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060
Memory: 16.0 GB

Using Pcsx2 1.6.0
I haven't touched any setting.

Just wondering if anyone can help me out here
