NFS most wanted sudden freezing
#1
It was running fine for a bit but today all of a sudden its getting random short freezes.
I've searched google and the forum for a little bit but dont seem to be finding very similar issues.
I'll post the emulog thing since that seems a common way people have found help, if there is any more info needed let me know.
I have this slight suspicion it might also have something to do with my HDD starting to die.
Beyond that specs are:

So like the other guy suggested i upgraded to 1.7 now which has only made the freezing worse but on the other hand it seems to have fixed some graphical issues i used to have on 1.6 like in some NFS games there was this weird line infront of my car when i did bumper or hood view that seems to have dissappeared.
But yeah freezing has only become worse which i think is most likely because it now runs in 16:9, changing it back to 4:3 started out the same with constant small freezes but during a quick race it seemed to run fine outside of the start.
I did also check the power settings and its set to Ryzen performance mode so that should be fine.
I will include the log of most wanted today here:

Underground 2 runs fine, a little smoother then yesterday but both most wanted and underground 2 are quite a bit worse in terms on pixelation compared to yesterday, like the quality of the image seemed quite a bit better yesterday.
Pro street although suffering from the same image issue where it looks worse then 2 days ago does run quite a bit smoother then it did 2 days ago so i wont include their emulogs right now but i could get those if you want them.
Admittedly and thinking back to if i changed any settings on 1.6 i might have been running it on 2x native 720p instead of native so im taking a wild guess that that is causing the image to look worse today?

All of this is kinda giving me the vibes its just my dying HDD holding me back since it were quite some sudden issues that have surfaced around the same time other games have started running issues that are on this HDD, like GTA 5 has longer load screens, textures dont load in correctly and it has random freezes too now all of a sudden.
So here's another thing i'd like to test but gonna have to ask, do i only have to move the emulator to my SSD or must i also then move the game to my SSD to feel any impact on that?

Im also wondering how save it is to change stuff like the renderer and the internal resolution since like i said i think i ran 1.6 on x2 native but still in 4:3.
Lets say moving the emulator/game to my SSD works for the freezes, what changes could i safely make to improve image quality because it's looking rather extra rough today all of a sudden Tongue
