Namco X Capcom or emulator itself
#1
I searched the forum, I've found few similar problems and applied em to my setting. No avail. I even searched for: CDVD READ ERROR, sector=926691, by numbers only. Nothing...

I don't know what I am doing wrong...

Basically, I start up the emulator, mount ISO into daemon... and File -> Run CD/DVD

And then everything goes as it would, normally... but as soon as it gets to 'Produced by Namco', I get red font of CDVD READ ERROR, sector=926691 in emulog... here it is.

Linuz iso as in CDVD plugin? And what do you mean, unmount it from DT? Taking Daemon tools off?

No... if you have Daemon Tools open click on it and tell it to unmount the iso.

is your ISO patched with the PPF patch?

also, you might want to get the new beta. microVU handles this game better

you may have misdumped your ISO, then.

try with your original DVD and Gigahertz CD/DVD plugin.

If it works that way, redump your Iso using Imgburn

Hmm... I will try microVU, then. I'll come back and let you know how it went.

Edit: I finally figured out what microVU is... it's a 'speed modification', right?

Well... I don't really know what I gotta readjust but here's the picture to clarify everything... I honestly don't understand half of this stuff, lol

You should read the Configuration Guide then to understand the settings.

microVU is only available in the beta which you don't seem to be using.
It's a replacement for the old VU0 and VU1 recompilers, with higher compatibility but lower speed so nothing to do with 'speed modification'.

Thank you. I downloaded the beta, and currently changing some setting to see how things goes. Again, thank you!
