This is PCSX2 1.1.0. The quality is extremely good and it doesn't really look like it's on native, yet there are no issues.. I wonder. Anyway, I doubt my eyes would get used to it, because, trust me, the flickering is unbelievably annoying ;_;

But thanks Tongue Do you know why that video doesn't have any issues, however?

Wait, it flickers on native too?

I meant your eyes will get used to the low res, not flickering!

watching vid now, will report back

Err, no, it doesn't flicker on native.. Oh, I misread your post, I see. Anyway.. Nope, can't bear the low res.
So, can you answer my question or do you have no idea as well?

I was gonna suggest you ask the vid author a question, but I'm assuming you are SonicTheHedgehog12

Yes, well, uh Sony Tongue
I'll just wait for a response, then. Thanks for the support I guess. I hope this thread stays open though, since I'll have to report back my status later.

He is definitely above native resolution.

And sorry, I've given you all the options I can think of.

He says he is on 1.1.0 but remember there are TONS of revisions of 1.1.0 so it may have gotten broken somewhere along the line.

At this point first I'd try the 1.0.0 you can get from the main site.

If that video is 1.1.0 then you shouldn't need to go further back than that to check.

To clarify, you aren't using VU cycle stealing hack or frameskipping right? Both could cause this.

Oh, I'm only using EE hacks on 3. I think it's still the same without EE hacks though, so yeah. And no problem Tongue

Yeah, EE hack can mess up stuff, but shouldn't cause flickering.

Well, I hate to leave a thread unsolved but I'm out of ideas. If I had the game to test maybe I might figure something out, but sadly, I don't. Even if I did own it, I wouldn't own the pal version(I live in the US)

Good luck, I hope you get it fixed!

Thanks, I'll try the version stuff.

Thats strange this game is working almost perfect for me.
I tried almost every setting, resolution and different versions (0.98, 1.0, SVN 5445 and 5762)

The only things that can cause flickering are: HW Hacks like MSAA or Skipdraw: looks like this: http://imgur.com/cUL3a5c (the dark areas are flickering all the time) or the nvidia driver bug.

Are you sure that you dont have any other settings changed like: Skipdraw, MSAA, Manual Gamefixes, Rounding, Clamping etc.?

As for the nvidia thing: AFAIK it dosnt affect DX9 only DX11. So DX9 with x2/3 scaling should be O.K.

Well, I use the DX9 thing now, but even with ''Enable HW Hacks'' disabled, there are still some black lines in the intro, cutscenes, CyberConnect2 logo, etc.
Oh, and I also see a really weird VERY thin line on the right side sometimes which looks like a glitchy mess, and it doesn't look like it's part of the current screen display at all.

My EE/IOP settings are:
Emotionengine and IOP are both on Recompiler.
Rounding is Chop / Zero and clamping is Normal.

My VU settings are:
VU0 and VU1 both on MicroVU Recompiler
Rounding is Chop / Zero and clamping is Normal.
EE speedhack is on 3, VU is on 0.
INTC Spin detection is enabled, Wait Loop detection is enabled,
Fast CDVD is not enabled, mVU Flag Hack is enabled, MTVU is enabled.
Manual game fixes is off.

Is that all?
