Nascar Thunder 2004 distance blur help

In nascar thunder 2004 all the cameras EXCEPT cockpit camera have a horrible distance blur effect:

Nascar Thunder 2003 didn't have this effect on any camera mode.

Is there any way to get rid of the distance blur on ALL cameras?
