It works with both but you actually need to install a couple of things for full wired/wireless functionality.

DsHidMini gives you wired support and an interface for configuring wired and Bluetooth modes. If you'd like to use BT, you'll also need BthPS3 from the above link. If you also want xinput support for games outside of PCSX2, you'll need DS4Windows: Releases · Ryochan7/DS4Windows · GitHub and the ViGEm Bus driver from the above link.
