Need Help With God Of War 1 [Graphics Bug]
#1
Exclamation
Hello everyone, I freshly installed PCSX2 on my new PC.

I wanted to test to see if it was working so I ran an ISO of God of War 1. Unfortunately I have encountered this weird graphical bug in the emulation.
There is a "Green Mist" to lighten areas of the game and there is also vertical lines on the screen. See for your self: https://imgur.com/a/ngUewhu

I had played some of these game on my old pc and there was no issues, no graphical problems but I have encountered this problem in my new PC and I am not sure what to do.

Here is some additional information if it helps:

PC Specs:

OP SYSTEM:Windows 10
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processer
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT
16 GB Ram

Any Help would be much appreciated.

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):

P.S. There isn't a specific "instance" where this bug occurs. It happens automatically as soon as I start the game. The only place it is not visible is when I am in the In-Game menus. But whenever I actually play the game there are these vertical lines on the screen like I showed.

Ok so after tinkering around with the video settings, I believe I found the where these visual bugs were coming from.

They seem to all originate from Up-Scaling the video game resolution. FYI when I played the game on its original PS2 resolution there were no visual glitches.
So I played around with the Upscaling Hack settings and I found a layout that solves about 95% of the visual problems in the emulation.
I left JPG attachment for anyone who may be having these issues. Try to use the Upscaling hack settings I have.
