Need Help using cheats :(

Hey guys ive been trying to use cheats for my ps2 games and ive tried absolutely everything, pnach, codebreaker, ARM everything I'm from the UK so the games i use are PAL but for the life of me i just cant get them to work.

Any help would be greatly appreicated Thanks!.

Uhm don't mean to insult you old chap but did you tick Enable Patches in the misc. section? If you are using r1888 it's in the Misc. drop down menu in alpha builds it's under File menu.Hope that solves your problem

Yup and im using the PCSX2 0.9.7 version with patches enabled xD

WOW no support for alpha builds(0.9.7) here.Now use Pcsx2 0.9.6 or beta r1888 than ask for support.

@Speedy42: Patches work regardless of pcsx2 version, you could have helped the man *sigh*.

Ontopic: Use omniconvert to convert Codebreaker/ARMAX codes to RAW codes for the pcsx2 pnach format.

Also there is a pcsx cheat to pnach tool somewhere which automatically converts RAW codes to pcsx2 pnach format.

sorry guys it just wont work, everytime i alter a pnach file the emulator crashes and this is with 0.9.6 aswell i thought the difference in versions would help but clearly not

if u have ,word, replace it with ,extended, and vise versa it has worked for me in many games
example: patch=1,EE,103F213A,extended,00006363 ---> patch=1,EE,103F213A,word,00006363 and the opposite
