Need Help with PCSX2 Settings for Smooth Gameplay

Hey everyone,

I am new to using PCSX2 and looking for some help with optimizing my settings for smoother gameplay. I am currently trying to play  God of War on my mid range PC (Intel i5, 8GB RAM, NVIDIA GTX 1050) but I am facing some lag and frame drops.

I have tried adjusting a few settings like enabling speed hacks and changing the resolution but I am not sure if I am doing it right. Could someone please suggest the best settings for my setup or guide me on what configurations would work best. Also are there any plugins or additional tools that could help improve performance.
Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Latest stable build at default settings is probably the best you can get
