Need a little help about low fps

I'm giving up. After messing with pcsx2 graphical plugin about 2 hours i just give up and ask for help. And i hope i posted this in the correct forum.

In FF 10 i manage to get around 25 fps to 43 fps. But i did have higher fps than that before i changed anything but still the fps where low: 35 to 40 fps. I want higher than that if my computer have enough power.

My pc hardware:
Nvidia Gefore 9800 GT with 2 gb vram. This vram thingy is including what my motherboard can give me.
I got Dual Core 2.33 Ghz from Intel
4 GB ram but i can only use 3,2 ram.

Current setup:
GSdx 0.1.14 SSSE3
- Ress: 1680x1050 60hz
- Render: Direct3D 10 (Hardware)
- Aspect Ratio: 16:9
- D3D internal res: Native
- Texture filtering ON
- Wait vsync ON
- NLOOP hack Grayed ON

Advanced:
EE Recs Options
- Round Mode: Nearest
- Clamp Mode: Normal
- Denormals are Zero

VU Recs Options
- Round Mode: Nearest
- Clamp Mode: Normal
- Denormals Zero

Spee hacks
- INTC Sync Hack: ON
Enable IOP x2: ON
WaitCycles Sync Hack: ON
Default Cycle Rate

CPU config
- Frame Limiting: Normal
EERec - EE/IOP recompiler: ON
Multi threaded GS mode: ON

Anything i should change?

turn vsync off, try getting newer pcsx2 and Gsdx since using EE and VU at nearest doesn't happen in latest unless you changed it, and Gsdx 0.1.14 is already old.

Heh Why am i always to quick with things?

It sure helped Gained 7-10 fps. I wonder if i overclock my system i might get even better result? But that ain't gonna happen since all i got is the fan for my gpu and cpu.

the ffx hack does not speed up ffx emulation, it shows missing geometry. also, he seems to have vista/win7, so gsdx10 should be the fastest plugin.

to the op: the latest official beta of pcsx2 comes with a speedhack called vu cycle stealing, many report it to be very effective. just don't set it to more than moderate

What do you mean GScx 0.1.14 is already old? That's the one I have and I just got it day before yesterday. It's the one that came in the DL pack and I don't see it in the plugins section.

Get the latest pcsx2 public beta and on it enable the speedhack "VU cycle stealing" setting it to slight, any higher and it'll cause problems in FFX. You could also set the EE cycle rate to 1.5x or 2x
