Patches not required now. You will need to use skip draw = 1 to make it playable in gsdx HW mode. Some effects seems to be missing/messed up but doesn't effect gameplay.

Comments:
Like stated above, you need set skipdraw to 1, otherwise you'll get 5-10 FPS in-game and the whole system will lag. Enabling 8-bit textures increases speed by 5 FPS. With it and recommended speedhacks I get 40-50 FPS in-game. The only way to get constant full speed is to crank up VU Cycle Stealing to the max but this will cause slight sound crackling.
Bugs:
Some special effects appear incorrectly. Traditionally, motion blur is too strong.
