Need for Speed most wanted running extremely slow

I downloaded the ROM for this game and loaded it into PCSX2 but for whatever reason it is running extremely slow and is unplayable. I tried various speedhacks to no avail. I would greatly appreciate help with this problem. Thank you

OS: Windows 10 Home 64 - Bit


Processor: Intel® Core i5-6300HQ CPU @ 2.30GHz(4 CPUs)

Memory: 8192MB RAM

DirectX12

GPU: Nvidia GTX 960M

First off please don't color shift your text it is annoying to read when people are using the dark theme.

Now on to the issue
What version of PCSX2 are you using? If you are using 1.4.0 use one of the Git builds https://buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2/ since there is a skylake bug in 1.4 and need for speed runs slower in it as well.

There is a high chance this will not completely fix your issue since NFS MW is a CPU demanding game and ypur CPU is only just recomemded and not for demanding titles. You can help this by making sure that your powerplan is set to maximum performance and ypur laptop is getting adequate cooling to maintain as much performance as it can.

Also what settings are you using for graphics? Please post a pic or a link to a pic of your settings.
