What do your EE and GS read when u get slowdowns

EE: >90
GS: 50 and 60.

1 - try tinkering with speedhacks
2- if that doesn't work try to get a better CPU
3-if you can't, play this game on your real PS2 until you can afford a better cpu

your stp isn't bad, but not stellar.. its ~1930.. so above minimum recommended. The bad news is there are games taht will push that thing well out of your ability to play them.

Good news is 3550's and 3770's are relatively easy to find and should work with your mobo no problems...and that will bump your cpu to a ~2050 single threaded performance and free up some cores for the OS to work in while leaving pcsx2 free to play. I mean yes you can get stuff like they ryzen 3200g for about the same price.. You're not going to have to upgrade everything going to a used 3570 (at roughly 50 usd round here)
