Need help, cant figure out how to start games

I dont have iso buster and dont know much about mounting with deamon tools or alchol 120% I'm relatively new to all this since I just downloaded the program yesterday,

if the ISO is corrupt, then no mounting tool will mount it either (since PSCX2 mounts it)

bios: japan v01.00 console

wouldn't that be the bios that is from the original japanese ps2 (iirc pcsx2 wouldn't work with it)

pcsx2 works with it. oh.. and the earliest US PS2s had it too

I tried mounting and things turned out different. When I started it up it told me to insert a ps2 format disk (in jap since I used that bios). I take it this means mounting works, the thing is just corrupted.

yea, the ISO is if you says to insert a ps2 dvd

I see. Well thanks everyone. At the very least I wont be so tottally helpless if I encounter this problem again.

that bios should work, but if you have an PS@ CD games, give them a shot too and see if they work
