Need help setting up PCSX 2, I am having issues
#1
My specs are:
Core i7 6700HQ (Yes its a laptop)
GTX 1060 3GB
8GB DDR4
The laptop is an MSI QE62 Apache Pro if I messed up in writing a spec.
I only plan to play a few games like Tekken 4, the God of War games and a few PS2 exclusives here and there (only have GoW 1 for now to play). The cutscenes have the entire bottom cut off as well as a bit from the right side right above the cut off bottom, the gameplay completely goes to hell after defeating the Hydra and watching the cutscene on the ship. Can you tell me the best settings I'll need or any extra plugins/software? A one-time setup will be highly appreciated. Also can my rig handle increasing the textures and resolution past the PS2s native? Thanks in advance for any info you provide.
The image is of the PlayStation 2 logo that plays at the start, I am currently unable to take any other screenshot but if needed I'll provide it ASAP.

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):
[code]
Pasted emulog goes here
[ /code]
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

I did not understand clearly, I only played it once yesterday, do I just post the entire log between code and /code like "code log /code"?

what did you use to make your ISO ?
we recommend using imgburn (www.imgburn.com)

Can you try using directly your original disc instead of iso to see if the problem still occurs ?

Ok so I am going to be honest here, I did not have my physical copy on me but, after reading this, I did ask my mate for his old copies of every PS2 game he owns, he has God of War 1 and 2 (happy to get rid of them), as for what I used now, an ISO I got off the web. I will update once I get the DVDs.

no problem.
