New Gran Turismo 4 Config+Shader 2017

I had the same issue. But it somehow resolved itself (or after accidently changing something). I have no clue how tho. Look through all your settings and tell what you might have enabled or disabled.

Some of my settings under Video > Plugin settings:
Shader Configuration with FXAA enabled and Shade Boost enabled with Saturation on 45. TV shader NONE.
Hardware mode settings: Allow 8bit OFF (I think this would be best for your 4790k), ... Ill just post some screenshots Smile

I also switched back to the old GSDX plugin driver as he doesn't mention it here. (OP prompted to download and install a new GSDX in the old tutorial) http://prntscr.com/e9eufq
And GSWindow settings: http://prntscr.com/e9euy9

I just changed the resolution to 1440p (2560x1440) and now there is very little startup race lag. Sure it looks worse than 4k but I've tried everything with 4k resolution and it still lags too much. Thanks for the help anyway.

Yeah it was really weird for me too. It might need a clean cd boot maybe. I had the same issue with it dropping to like 5fps for 5 seconds at the beginning. The VRAM of my gtx970 was capping out I think. I f'd something up and had to make a new memory card and everything. Then it also solved the stutter problem with it. Dont think I can reproduce it.

Wow. I've not experienced such issue. For me the game is running full speed. Only when I forget to change video mode to progressive I get the stutter you describe at the beginning of a race.

That happens because you haven't set picture settings to '0'.

Within the game to to Home - Options - Picture Quality

Make sure Brigthness, Contrast, ect. is all set to '0'

Or during a race Pause game and go to Screen Settings

change everything to '0' and that should fix your issue.

Yeah, as soon as I posted that I realized that was the issue, for some reason the brightness resets every time I start up the game so I didn't know that was the issue because I had already thought I dealt with it. Anyway, thanks. It seems to be working well so far.

If you're not playing the game on progressive mode, you really are missing out on a lot of the detail and picture quality of the game.

Plus game runs way more smoothly on progressive mode and if you are using the shader config I provide you will certainly love it.

I got it working and yeah 480p progressive mode works fine. I restarted my computer and the game started to magically work with no issues whatsoever. Game looks great, thanks again.

I have noticed that when watching replays the dive camera now works. You can now fully use photo mode.

Thank you mate. It's the only one forum i have found sullution for setting.

BUT can i ask you, how do you guys copy photos from Photo Lab to USB? No USB drive was detected, it's written somehow.

Plus Photomode still glitches until i put setting to SOFTWARE.

Hope you can help me in this question.
