I've been cheerfully ignoring your asinine request for more hackage until now. And thusly I speak:

Dude. the hack makes things run faster because it's causing the emulated ps2 to skip over potentially important work. if we fix it so the character stops flickering then the hack will no longer make the game run faster.

Speed hacks are not magical speedups. They work by skipping 'non-critical' portions of emulation that some (or most) games are not dependent on, or still run "reasonably well" without. That is why hacks break things. And that is why hacks will always break things. Period.

It barely flashes for me. Stop using it at such a high setting then and you will get less flashing or don't use it at all.
