New system but Shadow of Colossus has low fps

it's meant to run at 60fps, just the frames are doubled up. that's why it's only at 30, it runs slower at 30fps

lol guys im getting 50 FPS (pal ver) most of time with c2q @3.0
speedhacks used:
EE: 2
VU: 1
and all options on the left side
(PCSX2 0.9.7 r3878)
no sh*t Laugh

yes it runs fast but not rly smooth... FPS set to no limit Glare

how do you know you effectively get 50 fps if you're using speedhacks ?
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

hmm good point. so how I can check it? I guess fraps will lie me too so... only my eyes can tell me? thats why it doesnt feel smooth?

one way to check, record a video, take 50 frames of it, see if they are all unique, if they arent (which i suspect they wont be) then you arent getting a genuine 50fps.

ummm so the only way is to record my display with camera (50fps video) huh? Laugh

recording softwares will make fake results (lowering frame rate)

I'd recommend just settling for 30 fps. That's the framerate the collection on PS3 is supposed to run at, and that framerate will give the most cinematic feel anyways.

Can you limit the emu so it syncs at 30FPS?

using the fps limiter in pcsx2 options, yes.
