New to PCSX2 Emulator (Shadow Hearts-Covenant)

Hello everyone.

I just downloaded the newest version of PCSX2 (1.0)
I have used other emulators but for the most part the default settings work fine. Before I start to mess around with things I wanted the communities opinion on what are the best settings I should use to when playing Shadow Hearts Covenant, Persona 4, and a bunch of other RPGS.)

CPU: AMD Phenom X4 9650 Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: Biostar TA790GX 128M
Memory: Dual Channel DDR2 4G
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT 1G

Just let me know and I will provide any other info. Also is there anything I need to do to make sure I can run any and all games?
