Well it certainly does it in a pinch, eh?

But, yeah-- Intel's modern processors give you more per-clock.
Even AMD has admitted they're faster.

AMD still gets the job done for most,
yet at less cost, though.

Truely two different options.

Pick your AMD, see what you'd get for the same price on Intel side, 100% chance it would be faster.

Of course this disregard the cost of changing motherboard, or ram if you're still rocking on DDR2 board.
