New to PCSX2 , please help !!!

Hi there,

I am a new user of emulators but it is necessary to use one in order to play the games i like.
Recently i downloaded Resident Evil Code Veronica X. But i cannot get the emulator to play it. Ive downloaded pcsx2 1.2.1 and tried to run it, but i cant.
i drag'n'drop the iso file and when i try to boot cdvd full or fast (i tried both), it says

"Access denied to memory card 1 and 2 , PS2 slot 0 automatically disabled."

Then, another message says

"A file could not be created . path : c:\users\pc\documents\pcsx2\bios\Sony playstation 2 BIOS (E)(v2.20)(2006-02-10)[SCPH-77008].nvm."

I probably do something wrong with the configuration (its the hardest part), could you please help me out ?

My system runs a Intel core duoE7200 @2.53, with 4G ram and an Ati Radeon HD3600 series Graphics card. The sound is M/B onboard.

I dont speak English fluently so forgive any grammar mistakes. For the same reason , i couldn't find help help through your guides.

So please walkthrough me so i can play my favorite games !!!
