New to pcsx2, need help!

This is the first time I am using pcsx2, or any emulator, and i got the PS2 browser to open (where you choose the disk, or the memory cards) and when i select the game it goes black then after a second goes back into the same screen. I have no idea what is causing it, so please help!

It sounds like your game is a different region to your BIOS, use the Fast Boot option from the system menu rather than Full Boot.
