New user with odd issue

Ok i just downloaded PCSX2 and i am having an odd issues when trying to play FFX-2 i get massive slowdown like 15-30 FPS with skipping frames and every this is said 3 times in a very metallic voice and when i try to play Kingdom Hearts the sound skips and shudders .

I have Tryed alot of diffrent configs but here is the one i have right now. it works the best so far but still very far good.

Graphics:
GSdx 890 (MSVC 15.00 SSE2) 0.1.14
Windowed
DirectX10 3d Hardware
16:9
D3D Native

Sound:
SPU2-X 1.1.0
inter polation 1.Linear (recommended)
module 1 xaudio 2 (recommended)

Cdvdrom:
ggaherz's CDVD Plugin 0.7.0

Bios:
USA 1.60

You could try ripping your DVDs to isos and use Linuz Iso plugin to play.

But overall you PC is kinda slow, so performance loss is to be expected.

your pc is nearly identical to mine, so here's what I use.

gfx plugin: GSdx rev 1006 DX10, internal res 384x384 (edit the INI for this)
sound plugin: ZeroSPU2-r8** (revising escapes me, it's oe of the official betas)
speedhacks: ee1.5 IOPx2, VU cycle stealing LVL1


with this I get about 40 fps on FF12, and 30 on god of war. I don't have x-2 but see if this speeds it up some for you

Am I missing something here.. why is the total less than what is available?


+Your pc is pretty similar overall to mine too
I put all speedhacks on except waitcylces and vu stealing full
I put int res as 1024*864
I also use SPU2-X with the same settings and disable audio expansion and have latency as 160ms
And make sure everything on the left is ticked in config>cpu

and I can play kingdom hearts at full speed easy and good quality

Get the latest beta pcsx2 and plugins, and experiment with speed hacks
You should get reasonable speeds and sound quality with your rig and kh

thanks to making my discs into iso's and changing a few setting i got KH running but i am still having the same issues with FFX2 it fruns at 20 FPS max and runs very slow every thing that is said is in a metalic voice and the screen flashies with the backgrounds i will get my copy of fraps off my old comp and try to get a video of it maybe that will help.
