depends on your employer
here, any forum or website that deals with emulation, gaming, music, videos, etc... (lets say "entertaining") is blocked by the global proxy.

I have to remote control my home PC to post on pcsx2 ^^

Well, if you're able to post something here, then that might mean you're not on your workplace, you're (ʎxoɹd ǝɥʇ ƃuıssɐdʎq) or the admin (ɯnɹoɟ sıɥʇ ɥʇıʍ dn ʇɥƃnɐɔ ʇ,usɐɥ). =b

Anyway, I think ikazu was just trying to point out that it might be a firewall installed in your work computer that's blocking you.

...oh, and it's reversed, just in case (pǝɹoʇıuoɯ ƃuıǝq ǝɹ,noʎ), jes... xD

I am but

I am sort of. But unfortunately not in charge of the proxy.

Good idea.
But I don't think so. After 10 years working as a system admin in that company, I think I know what I'm installing on everyone's PC (including mine) Laugh

There's your problem; you're trying to run PCSX2 with an onboard gfx chip.
Your CPU is fine, but you still need to have a dedicated gfx card like an NVIDIA or ATI.

Intel G41 does support DX10 though; have you tried DX10 Hardware Mode?
And which GSdx did you use?
Try the SSE4 version if you haven't done so.

@jesalvein
I missed reading that part about you remoting your home PC from work. =b

Go to the GSdx (plugin) setting, and choose one from the 'Renderer' option.

If you haven't tried installing a gfx card by yourself before, I suggest asking someone else with more experience to install it for you if you do buy a new one.
Wrongful installations may lead to the whole system being broken.
Personally, I'd say it's easy, but it's not recommended if you don't have some experience with it.
